Merlot is a WONDERFUL cat
Merlot is a WONDERFUL cat name! I just lost my beautiful male Maine Coon, who was my Merlot for 12 years. I raised him from the time he was abandoned at about five days old. We were in the process of moving up to northern CA for my husband's job promotion and we were living near wine country. Merlot is also his favorite wine, so it seemed appropriate. Everyone loved his name and thought it was so unique...friends, vets, family, etc. Much of the time we called him "Merlie" as well as Merlot. He was the most wonderful loving cat and I will miss him forever. There will never be another Merlot!
